Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents and alerts in real-time.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on internal and external systems.
- Manage and configure next-generation firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection systems.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and compliance documentation.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices.
- Lead incident response investigations and coordinate with legal/compliance as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC, or information security roles.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Deep knowledge of network protocols, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and cloud security (AWS/Azure).
- Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and security automation (Python/Bash).
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to stakeholders.
