Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive security protocols and infrastructure defense strategies.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits to identify potential risks.
- Monitor security systems and analyze alerts to detect and respond to breaches in real-time.
- Manage and optimize SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) tools and dashboards.
- Lead incident response investigations and post-incident reporting to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as SOC 2, HIPAA, and ISO 27001.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or a related field.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Python, PowerShell, or Bash scripting for security automation.
- Deep understanding of cloud security principles (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms and security information management (SIM) tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
