Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather, clean, and preprocess large datasets from various sources to ensure accuracy and integrity for analysis.
- Statistical Analysis: Apply statistical methods and programming languages (SQL, Python) to identify trends, correlations, and anomalies in data.
- Visualization: Create compelling dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker to communicate insights to stakeholders.
- Reporting: Prepare regular performance reports and business intelligence summaries for management.
- Collaboration: Partner with product managers and engineers to define data requirements and support the development of data-driven solutions.
- Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of data pipelines, methodologies, and analytical models.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. (Recent graduates or interns are encouraged to apply).
- Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of SQL (strongly preferred) and familiarity with Python or R.
- Tools: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and at least one data visualization tool (Tableau, PowerBI, or similar).
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to spot errors in data and ensure high-quality deliverables.
