Responsibilities
- Design and implement low-latency trading systems for equity options markets
- Develop risk management algorithms for complex derivatives portfolios
- Collaborate with quants to model volatility surfaces and pricing engines
- Optimize C++/Java microservices for 99.99% uptime SLAs
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers in Agile sprints
- Integrate with FIX protocols and exchange gateways (NYSE, NASDAQ)
- Automate deployment pipelines using Kubernetes and Terraform
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in C++/Java for financial systems
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Expertise in options pricing models (Black-Scholes, Binomial Trees)
- Proficiency with Linux, Docker, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP)
- Familiarity with market data feeds (ITCH/ITCH, OUCH)
- Strong knowledge of multithreading and concurrency patterns
- Experience with regulatory compliance (SEC FINRA)
- Portfolio demonstrating high-throughput trading applications
