Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable microservices using Java, Python, or Go
- Optimize database performance for high-traffic transactional systems
- Lead CI/CD pipeline improvements for 24/7 deployment automation
- Debug and resolve production issues during night shift coverage
- Collaborate with global teams via asynchronous communication tools
- Contribute to architecture decisions for cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure)
- Maintain system reliability through proactive monitoring and alerting
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and documentation
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in backend software development
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Java/Python/Go)
- Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and cloud platforms
- Strong problem-solving skills for production-level debugging
- Comfortable working independently during night shift hours
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins/GitLab CI)
