Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather raw data from various sources and clean it to ensure accuracy for analysis.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform quantitative analysis to identify trends, patterns, and correlations in complex data sets.
- Dashboard Creation: Build interactive and visual dashboards using Tableau or Power BI to present findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Reporting: Generate regular performance reports and data summaries that drive business strategy and decision-making.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and operations teams to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and data needs.
- Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of data sources, methodologies, and analysis processes.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and basic understanding of SQL databases.
- Programming: Familiarity with Python or R is a plus but not required for this entry-level role.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong attention to detail and the ability to think critically about data quality.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts simply.
- Remote Readiness: Self-motivated, disciplined, and capable of working independently in a remote setting.
