Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Assist in gathering data from various sources and cleaning datasets to ensure accuracy and integrity for analysis.
- Dashboard Creation: Support the creation and maintenance of interactive dashboards using tools like Tableau or Power BI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Report Generation: Generate regular and ad-hoc reports for stakeholders, highlighting trends and anomalies in the data.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform basic statistical analysis and trend forecasting to help the business make informed decisions.
- Database Support: Collaborate with the IT team to understand database structures and query data using SQL when necessary.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas where data processes can be streamlined to improve efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field is preferred. (Recent graduates are encouraged to apply).
- Technical Skills: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP) is required. Familiarity with SQL, Python, or R is a plus but not mandatory.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present complex data findings to non-technical audiences.
