As an Entry Level Data Analyst, you will work alongside senior analysts to transform raw data into actionable business insights. Responsibilities
- Assist in Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather data from various sources and perform rigorous cleaning and validation to ensure accuracy for analysis.
- Support Data Visualization: Create clear, concise, and visually appealing charts and dashboards using tools like Tableau or Power BI to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Conduct Basic Analysis: Perform statistical analysis and trend identification to support business decision-making processes.
- Generate Reports: Develop regular and ad-hoc reports that summarize key performance indicators (KPIs) and present them to the management team.
- Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
- Learn & Adapt: Stay current with industry best practices and continuously improve your technical skillset through mentorship and self-study.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field (Graduates are encouraged to apply).
- Technical Aptitude: Familiarity with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) is required. Experience with SQL or Python is a plus but not mandatory for entry-level applicants.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong attention to detail and the ability to think critically about data quality and anomalies.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Eagerness to Learn: A proactive attitude towards learning new software and analytical methodologies.
- Location: Must be willing to work on-site in Omaha, Nebraska.
