Responsibilities
- Data Management: Collect, clean, and validate large datasets to ensure accuracy and integrity for reporting purposes.
- Visualization: Create intuitive, interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau or Power BI to communicate key insights to stakeholders.
- SQL Proficiency: Write complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from relational databases efficiently.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Operations) to understand their data needs and provide actionable recommendations.
- Market Analysis: Conduct research to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities in both the NY and NC regions.
- Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of data sources, methodologies, and reporting standards.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Technical Skills: Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL and familiarity with Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Software: Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or Looker) is a plus but not required.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of explaining complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Location: Willingness to work from New York, NY, or remotely in North Carolina.
