Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather, clean, and preprocess data from various internal and external sources to ensure high data quality for analysis.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that drive business decisions.
- Visualization: Create clear, interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau or Power BI to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- SQL Querying: Write complex SQL queries to extract data from databases and support ongoing data projects.
- Collaboration: Partner with marketing, sales, and operations teams to define key metrics and KPIs.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of data models, analysis processes, and code repositories.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- SQL Skills: Proficient in SQL (SELECT, JOINs, GROUP BY) with the ability to write efficient queries.
- Software Proficiency: Strong Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP) and familiarity with at least one visualization tool.
- Programming: Basic knowledge of Python or R is a plus but not required.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical mindset with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
