Responsibilities
- Analyze complex datasets using SQL, Python, and Excel to identify trends and opportunities
- Create compelling data visualizations using Tableau/Power BI for executive presentations
- Support ad-hoc reporting and dashboard development for financial services clients
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into data solutions
- Maintain data quality standards and implement validation protocols
- Assist in developing predictive models for market analysis and risk assessment
- Document analytical processes and maintain data dictionaries
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field
- 0-2 years of experience with data analysis or relevant internship
- Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python/R preferred)
- Strong understanding of statistical concepts and data visualization principles
- Experience with Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, Power Query)
- Knowledge of financial markets or equity analysis is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to communicate complex findings to non-technical stakeholders
