The Role
As a Data Analyst at Apex, you will act as the bridge between raw data and strategic business decisions. You will ensure data integrity, build robust reporting models, and present insights that drive revenue.
Responsibilities
- Data Modeling: Design and optimize complex data models to support business intelligence needs.
- Visualization: Create intuitive, interactive dashboards using Tableau and Power BI to track KPIs.
- Cleaning & Analysis: Extract, clean, and analyze large datasets using SQL and Python to identify trends and anomalies.
- Reporting: Generate weekly and monthly reports for executive leadership, highlighting key performance indicators.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Finance) to define data requirements.
- Automation: Develop automated scripts to streamline data collection processes and reduce manual errors.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: 2-5 years of professional experience in data analysis or business intelligence.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL), Python (Pandas, NumPy), and Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables).
- Tools: Strong experience with visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex data to non-technical stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in data handling and reporting.
