Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts for equity options trading platforms
- Conduct vulnerability assessments on financial systems using industry tools
- Assist in implementing NIST and FINRA cybersecurity controls
- Document security incidents and participate in incident response drills
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security best practices
- Stay updated on emerging threats in financial cybersecurity
- Support compliance audits for SEC and FINRA regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification preferred
- Basic knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP)
- Familiarity with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Understanding of financial industry regulations (SOX, GDPR, PCI-DSS)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- 0-2 years of cybersecurity experience acceptable
