Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and escalate critical incidents
- Assist with vulnerability scanning and penetration testing under senior guidance
- Document security incidents using NIST frameworks and ticketing systems
- Participate in tabletop exercises simulating cyber attack scenarios
- Review firewall configurations and access control policies
- Conduct forensic analysis of security events using forensic tools
- Stay updated on emerging threats via MITRE ATT&CK database
Qualifications
- No experience required - open to recent graduates and career changers
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP)
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
