Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to security incidents targeting equity trading systems 24/7
- Implement and maintain advanced threat detection for financial transaction networks
- Conduct penetration testing on trading platforms and financial data repositories
- Develop security protocols for options trading compliance (SEC/FINRA)
- Collaborate with traders and compliance teams on risk mitigation strategies
- Lead incident response for cyber attacks on financial instruments
- Automate security workflows using SIEM tools for financial data
- Train staff on secure handling of equity options data
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or Finance (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years cybersecurity experience with financial systems or trading platforms
- Certifications: CISSP, CISM, or CEH with financial focus
- Expertise in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) for financial data
- Knowledge of options trading systems and market data protocols
- Experience with regulatory compliance (SOX, PCI-DSS, SEC)
