Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and intrusion detection systems to identify potential threats.
- Assist in the configuration and maintenance of firewalls and antivirus software.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and security audits on company networks.
- Document security incidents and maintain detailed logs for compliance.
- Support the IT department with technical troubleshooting and user support.
- Participate in cybersecurity drills and red team exercises.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required (Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field is a plus).
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic understanding of computer networking concepts and operating systems.
- Must be willing to obtain industry-recognized certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+) within 6 months.
