Responsibilities
- Lead SOC operations including threat detection, analysis, and incident response
- Implement and monitor SIEM solutions (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop security automation scripts using Python/PowerShell
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security architecture
- Stay current with emerging threats and mitigation strategies
- Document security procedures and compliance reports
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with SOC experience
- CISSP, CEH, or GIAC certification required
- Expertise in network security (firewalls, IDS/IPS)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Knowledge of NIST frameworks and compliance standards
- Ability to work rotating shifts in 24/7 environment
- Texas candidates with relocation readiness preferred
