Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and intrusion detection systems for potential threats in real-time.
- Assist in the investigation and documentation of security incidents and breaches.
- Support the deployment and maintenance of firewalls, antivirus, and intrusion prevention systems.
- Conduct basic vulnerability assessments and security audits on company networks.
- Collaborate with the IT department to ensure compliance with security policies and regulations.
- Participate in security training exercises and red team/blue team simulations.
- Document technical procedures and maintain accurate security logs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (equivalent experience accepted).
- Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows, Linux, and macOS.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Eagerness to learn and obtain industry-recognized security certifications (e.g., Security+, CEH).
