Responsibilities
- Monitor equity options trading platforms for security anomalies and suspicious activity
- Assist in implementing access controls for trading systems and sensitive financial data
- Participate in vulnerability assessments of options trading infrastructure
- Document security incidents and contribute to incident response playbooks
- Collaborate with compliance teams to ensure adherence to SEC and FINRA regulations
- Support security awareness training for trading desk personnel
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- CompTIA Security+ certification (or willingness to obtain within 6 months)
- Basic understanding of network security principles (TCP/IP, firewalls)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work in fast-paced financial environments
- Willingness to obtain FINRA Series 24/63 within 12 months
