Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and incidents using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Assist in implementing zero-trust security architectures
- Participate in vulnerability assessments and penetration testing exercises
- Document security incidents and maintain audit trails
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security awareness initiatives
- Support compliance requirements (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Learn and apply threat intelligence frameworks
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS)
- Strong analytical problem-solving abilities
- Ability to learn technical concepts quickly
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- CompTIA Security+ or similar certification (training provided)
