Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate and document potential security incidents
- Assist with vulnerability scanning and patch management
- Create and maintain security documentation
- Participate in red team/blue team exercises
- Support compliance initiatives (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Collaborate with IT teams on security best practices
Qualifications
- Associate/Bachelor's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification preferred
- Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls)
- Basic knowledge of Linux/Windows operating systems
- Ability to work rotating on-call shifts
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to travel 10%
- Must pass background check and drug screen
