Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and analyze potential threats using SIEM platforms
- Document security incidents and assist with incident response procedures
- Perform vulnerability scans and penetration testing under supervision
- Assist in developing security policies and best practices
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls
- Stay updated on emerging threats and industry trends
- Participate in security awareness training for employees
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications (CompTIA Security+, etc.) preferred but not required
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, firewalls)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to learn technical concepts quickly
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Windows/Linux environments
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel occasionally
