Responsibilities
- Monitor security operations center (SOC) alerts and triage potential incidents
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing exercises
- Assist in developing security documentation and incident response plans
- Analyze network traffic using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security awareness initiatives
- Participate in threat hunting and malware analysis projects
- Document security findings and recommend remediation actions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification (preferred)
- Familiarity with NIST frameworks and compliance standards

- Experience with Windows/Linux operating systems
