Responsibilities
- Database Management: Design, develop, and optimize SQL queries and data models to support complex reporting requirements.
- Dashboard Creation: Build and maintain interactive dashboards in Tableau and Power BI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for stakeholders.
- Data Cleansing: Perform rigorous data cleaning and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity across the weekend reporting cycle.
- Business Reporting: Generate comprehensive weekly and monthly analytical reports that drive decision-making for executive leadership.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Operations, Finance) to identify trends and opportunities for process improvement.
- Automated Insights: Develop Python scripts to automate routine data analysis tasks, increasing efficiency and reducing manual workload.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: 2+ years of professional experience as a Data Analyst, preferably within the retail or e-commerce industry.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and Python or R for data manipulation.
- Visualization: Strong experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear business insights.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to work independently during the weekend shift while maintaining high standards of accuracy.
