As a Weekend Data Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in transforming raw data into actionable business intelligence. You will work closely with our engineering and operations teams to ensure data integrity and produce reports that shape our future strategies.
Responsibilities
- Perform end-to-end data cleaning and preprocessing to ensure high-quality datasets for analysis.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards using Tableau and PowerBI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) and trends.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into technical data solutions.
- Conduct statistical analysis to identify anomalies, patterns, and opportunities for operational improvement.
- Create comprehensive monthly and quarterly reporting packages for executive leadership.
- Optimize database queries and data pipelines to improve reporting efficiency and accuracy.
- Support A/B testing initiatives by analyzing experimental data and providing statistical significance assessments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
- 2+ years of professional experience in data analysis, preferably within a corporate or technical environment.
- Strong proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and experience with NoSQL databases.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables) and experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker).
- Familiarity with Python or R for data manipulation and statistical modeling.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex data insights to non-technical audiences.
