The Role:
As a Weekend Data Analyst, you will be responsible for maintaining data quality, performing complex data analysis, and generating insightful reports during the critical weekend window. You will serve as the bridge between our data engineering teams and business stakeholders, ensuring that all critical KPIs are accurate and available for Monday morning strategic planning.
Responsibilities
- Execute rigorous weekend data audits and integrity checks to ensure data accuracy across all databases.
- Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL queries and ETL processes to support business reporting.
- Generate and present comprehensive weekly performance dashboards and ad-hoc reports to leadership.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Document data pipelines and analytical methodologies to ensure knowledge transfer and reproducibility.
- Optimize existing data models and visualization tools to improve query performance and user experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in data analysis or business intelligence.
- Proficiency in SQL (Advanced) for data extraction and manipulation.
- Experience with Python or R for data scripting and automation.
- Strong working knowledge of Tableau or Power BI.
- Demonstrated ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, with high reliability.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
