Job Overview:
As a Data Analyst on our weekend team, you will play a critical role in transforming raw data into actionable business intelligence. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive decision-making processes and ensure data integrity.
Responsibilities
- Extract and Clean Data: Utilize SQL and Python to extract, transform, and load large datasets from various sources.
- Generate Reports: Create comprehensive dashboards and visual reports using Tableau and Power BI to track key performance indicators.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform advanced statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in business data.
- Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.
- Data Governance: Ensure data quality standards are met and maintain proper documentation of data processes.
- Forecasting: Assist in predictive modeling to support future business planning.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within a tech environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas/NumPy), and visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI).
- Shift Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical teams.
- Tools: Familiarity with ETL tools and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) is a plus.
