Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather, merge, and clean large datasets from various sources to ensure accuracy and consistency for weekend reporting cycles.
- Reporting & Visualization: Develop and maintain interactive dashboards (Tableau/Power BI) that visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for leadership review.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform advanced statistical analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and growth opportunities within the data.
- Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate technical findings into clear, actionable business recommendations.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in current data workflows and propose automation solutions to streamline weekend operations.
- Database Management: Write and optimize complex SQL queries to retrieve specific data points required for weekly reports.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience: 2+ years of professional experience in data analysis or business intelligence.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL), Python (Pandas, NumPy), and data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, or Power BI).
- Availability: Must be available to work the weekend shift (Saturday and Sunday) on a rotating schedule.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Attention to Detail: Strong analytical mindset with a focus on data integrity and error reduction.
