Responsibilities
- Extract, clean, and validate large datasets to ensure accuracy for analysis.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards (Tableau/Power BI) to monitor KPIs and business metrics.
- Write complex SQL queries to retrieve data from relational databases and data warehouses.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Operations) to identify key business questions and data requirements.
- Perform statistical analysis and create detailed reports to support strategic planning.
- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to propose process improvements.
- Communicate complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and experience with database design.
- Expert knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and familiarity with Python or R for data manipulation.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex datasets and tell a data-driven story.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
