Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Processing: Gather, clean, and validate large sets of data from various internal and external sources to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Advanced Analytics: Perform complex statistical analysis and predictive modeling to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business growth.
- Visualization & Reporting: Design intuitive dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau or PowerBI to present findings to stakeholders clearly.
- SQL Development: Write optimized SQL queries to extract data and build robust data pipelines for reporting.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, engineers, and executives to understand business requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in current reporting processes and recommend automated solutions to improve data accessibility.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-4 years of professional experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and strong programming skills in Python or R.
- Tools: Demonstrated experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker) and spreadsheet software (Advanced Excel).
- Analytical Mindset: Strong ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable business strategies.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
