Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather, clean, and transform complex datasets using SQL, Python, and R to ensure high-quality data for analysis.
- Visualization: Design and develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau or Power BI to communicate insights effectively.
- Strategic Analysis: Perform deep-dive statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Operations, Finance) to understand business needs and deliver data-driven recommendations.
- Reporting: Generate regular reports and presentations for stakeholders to support executive decision-making.
- Data Governance: Maintain data integrity and ensure compliance with internal data policies and security standards.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in data analysis or a related role.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation; experience with Python or R is highly preferred.
- Tools: Expert level experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Location: Must be willing to work in our Stockton, CA office (Hybrid model available).
