Role Overview
As a Data Analyst, you will be the bridge between complex data and actionable business strategy. You will be responsible for gathering requirements, performing data mining, and presenting insights to stakeholders. This is a full-time position with a focus on remote collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Mining: Gather and integrate data from various sources, including databases, CRM systems, and spreadsheets, with a focus on data from the Philadelphia and Ohio regions.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform complex statistical analysis to identify trends, correlations, and anomalies in large datasets.
- Dashboard Creation: Build and maintain interactive dashboards using tools like Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Report Generation: Create comprehensive reports and presentations for management, translating technical findings into clear business insights.
- SQL & Coding: Write optimized SQL queries and scripts (Python/R) to extract and manipulate data efficiently.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Operations) to understand their data needs and provide solutions.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in a remote or hybrid setting.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R; experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, or Excel Advanced).
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Location: Must be willing to work remotely; candidates based in Philadelphia, PA, or Ohio are preferred.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
