We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our dynamic team on a part-time basis. As a key contributor to our analytics department, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, clean data, and visualize findings to support executive decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Perform in-depth data analysis and statistical modeling to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in large datasets.
- Design and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau or Power BI to visualize key performance indicators.
- Write complex SQL queries to extract, clean, and manipulate data from various relational databases.
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define data requirements and optimize data pipelines.
- Prepare clear, concise, and visually compelling presentations for stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Conduct regular data audits to ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data sources.
- Support the implementation of data-driven strategies and process improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of professional experience in data analysis, preferably within a part-time or flexible capacity.
- Strong proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and experience with ETL processes.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or Looker) is required.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R for data manipulation is a plus.
- Excellent analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively translate technical findings for non-technical audiences.
