Responsibilities
- Extract, clean, and validate large datasets from multiple sources to ensure data integrity for nightly reporting cycles.
- Develop, maintain, and automate complex SQL queries and Python scripts to streamline data workflows.
- Generate dynamic visualizations and dashboards using Tableau and PowerBI to present findings to stakeholders during morning handover briefings.
- Analyze trends and anomalies in operational data to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical data specifications.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) overnight to ensure SLAs are met and operational risks are mitigated.
- Create comprehensive documentation for data pipelines, methodologies, and analytical models.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional experience as a Data Analyst, preferably within a 24/7 operations or night-shift environment.
- Strong proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and scripting languages such as Python or R.
- Expertise in data visualization tools like Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker.
- Experience with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts (Snowflake, Redshift, or similar).
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
