Responsibilities
- Extract, clean, and transform complex datasets from various sources using SQL and Python to support night-operations reporting.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards in Tableau and Power BI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for the night shift.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of operational trends during off-peak hours to identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and translate business questions into analytical models.
- Create comprehensive monthly and weekly reports for management, highlighting anomalies and forecasting future trends.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy by performing regular audits and validation checks on all night shift data pipelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in data analysis, preferably within the energy or logistics sector.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating databases; experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL is required.
- Advanced skills in visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Must be available to work the Night Shift (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or similar schedule).
- Familiarity with Python or R for statistical analysis and data manipulation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
