Responsibilities
- Extract & Clean Data: Gather, validate, and clean large datasets from various sources using SQL and Python scripts.
- Analyze Trends: Perform complex statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data.
- Create Dashboards: Develop interactive dashboards in Tableau or PowerBI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for stakeholders.
- Report Generation: Generate regular and ad-hoc reports to support decision-making processes for the night operations team.
- Database Optimization: Maintain data integrity and optimize database queries for efficient night-shift processing.
- Collaborate: Work closely with the night operations team to solve data-related issues and provide actionable recommendations.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field.
- Experience: 2-5 years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (Querying, Joins, Stored Procedures) and experience with Python or R.
- Visualization: Strong experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to explain complex data to non-technical stakeholders.
- Availability: Must be available to work the Night Shift (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM EST) or flexible hybrid remote schedule.
