Role Overview:
In this role, you will be responsible for collecting, processing, and performing statistical analyses on large data sets. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify trends, opportunities, and potential issues, providing the leadership team with the data-driven insights needed to optimize performance.
Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Processing: Gather, clean, and validate data from various sources to ensure accuracy and integrity for analysis.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform complex statistical analyses to identify patterns, trends, and correlations within large datasets.
- Reporting & Visualization: Develop clear, concise, and visually appealing reports and dashboards (using Tableau/PowerBI) to communicate complex data findings to stakeholders.
- Business Intelligence: Collaborate with management to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and track progress against targets.
- SQL Management: Write optimized SQL queries to extract data and manage database structures effectively.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for operational efficiency by analyzing internal processes and recommending data-backed solutions.
- Stakeholder Communication: Present findings and insights to non-technical audiences in a clear and persuasive manner.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience: 1-3 years of professional experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar analytical role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (Strongly required), Excel (Advanced functions, PivotTables), and Python or R.
- Visualization Tools: Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker is highly desirable.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex problems using data.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
