As a Data Analyst at Apex, you will serve as the bridge between our technical data teams and executive leadership, ensuring that insights are accurate, accessible, and actionable.
Responsibilities
- Collect, process, and perform statistical analysis on complex, large-scale data sets.
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau and Power BI.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Operations) to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and data requirements.
- Generate comprehensive reports and executive summaries to support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of all data assets managed by the department.
- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to provide actionable recommendations for business improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field.
- Proven experience with SQL and database querying (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server).
- Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or Looker).
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP) and statistical analysis.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex data findings into clear, concise business language.
- Experience with Python or R is a significant plus.
