Responsibilities
- Data Mining & Cleaning: Collect, clean, and process large sets of raw data to ensure accuracy and integrity for analysis.
- Visualization: Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau, Power BI, or Looker to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- SQL Proficiency: Write complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from our relational databases.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with product managers and marketing teams to define data requirements and interpret results.
- Forecasting: Use statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and potential risks for the business.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation of data processes and analytical models to ensure transparency and reproducibility.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar role.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Tools: Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex data findings to non-technical audiences.
- Location: Must be willing to work in our Kansas City, MO office.
