Responsibilities
- Data Mining & Analysis: Gather, clean, and interpret complex datasets from multiple sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Visualization: Create compelling data visualizations and dashboards using Tableau or PowerBI to present findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Reporting: Develop and maintain regular performance reports and automated dashboards to monitor key business metrics.
- SQL Proficiency: Write complex queries and optimize database performance using SQL to support ad-hoc analysis.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers and engineering teams to define data requirements and improve data collection processes.
- Process Improvement: Identify operational inefficiencies and recommend data-driven solutions to optimize business workflows.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field.
- Experience: 2+ years of professional experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar role.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and experience with visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker).
- Programming: Basic knowledge of Python or R is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to diverse audiences.
