Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather, clean, and preprocess large datasets to ensure accuracy and consistency for analysis.
- Dashboard Creation: Build and maintain interactive visualizations using Tableau or Power BI to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Reporting: Generate weekly and monthly analytical reports for stakeholders to support business decision-making.
- SQL Queries: Write and optimize SQL queries to extract data from databases and perform complex data extraction.
- Trend Analysis: Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies in the data.
- Collaboration: Partner with marketing and product teams to understand data needs and provide actionable insights.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field (equivalent experience will be considered).
- Technical Skills: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) is required; familiarity with SQL is a plus but not mandatory.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong attention to detail and the ability to think critically about data quality.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present complex data findings to non-technical audiences.
- Learning Agility: A self-starter with a strong desire to learn new tools and technologies in the tech industry.
- Location: Willingness to work on-site or hybrid from Nashville, TN (or Virginia).
