Responsibilities
- Data Management: Collect, clean, and validate large datasets from various sources to ensure accuracy and integrity for analysis.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform complex statistical analyses to identify trends, patterns, and correlations that inform business decisions.
- Visualization: Create intuitive dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau or Power BI to communicate findings to stakeholders effectively.
- SQL & Coding: Write efficient SQL queries and utilize Python or R for data manipulation, ETL processes, and automation.
- Forecasting: Develop predictive models to forecast market trends and business performance.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams (marketing, finance, operations) to understand their data needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of data pipelines, methodologies, and analysis results.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in data analysis or business intelligence.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (Advanced), Python (Pandas, NumPy), and at least one BI tool (Tableau or Power BI).
- Mathematical Ability: Strong understanding of statistical concepts, regression analysis, and probability.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to spot errors and inconsistencies in data.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical jargon into business value.
- Problem Solving: Proven ability to troubleshoot complex data problems and propose innovative solutions.
