Responsibilities
- Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL): Gather and clean large datasets from various sources to ensure accuracy and integrity for analysis.
- Data Visualization: Design and develop interactive dashboards using tools like Tableau or PowerBI to visualize trends, patterns, and anomalies for stakeholders.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform in-depth statistical analysis to answer specific business questions and support hypothesis testing.
- Report Generation: Create comprehensive monthly and quarterly reports that provide actionable insights to leadership.
- Process Optimization: Identify areas for process improvement and automate manual reporting tasks to increase efficiency.
- Collaboration: Partner with product managers and engineers to understand data requirements and define key performance indicators (KPIs).
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong command of SQL (querying, joins, stored procedures) and experience with Python or R for data manipulation.
- Visualization Tools: Proven experience creating dashboards in Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker.
- Analytics Skills: Solid understanding of statistical methods, regression analysis, and data modeling.
- Communication: Excellent ability to translate complex data findings into clear, concise, and non-technical language for diverse audiences.
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in data analysis or a related role.
