Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate network intrusions and malware incidents
- Collaborate with incident response teams during security breaches
- Develop threat intelligence reports for executive stakeholders
- Implement security controls to prevent future attacks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Stay current with emerging threat vectors and attack techniques
Qualifications
- 5+ years of cybersecurity experience with threat analysis focus
- CISSP, CEH, or GIAC certification required
- Expertise in SIEM tools, IDS/IPS, and EDR solutions
- Experience with financial services or government security protocols
- Strong knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation
- Ability to work rotating shifts for 24/7 threat monitoring
- Active TS/SCI clearance preferred
