Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems for threat detection
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop and execute incident response plans for security breaches
- Implement firewall configurations and access control policies
- Collaborate with IT teams to maintain compliance with NIST and CIS standards
- Document security procedures and create comprehensive incident reports
- Lead threat hunting initiatives using advanced analytics tools
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and IDS/IPS systems
- Strong understanding of network protocols and cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms and MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Ability to maintain TS/SCI clearance (or obtainable)
