Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) for 24/7 threat detection and incident response
- Conduct vulnerability assessments using Nessus and Burp Suite
- Develop and execute penetration testing for web applications and networks
- Collaborate with SOC teams on incident remediation and forensics
- Implement NIST and ISO 27001 compliance frameworks
- Generate executive-level security reports and threat intelligence briefings
- Maintain security documentation and policies (SOAR, JIRA)
Qualifications
- 3+ years hands-on cybersecurity experience with SOC/NOC operations
- CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification required
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure) and network segmentation
- Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, and SQL for automation
- Experience with Palo Alto, Fortinet, or Cisco security tools
- Strong understanding of zero-trust architecture and SASE models
- Active DoD Secret clearance preferred
