Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts across SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate potential security incidents using forensic tools (EnCase, FTK)
- Collaborate with SOC teams to develop incident response playbooks
- Generate comprehensive threat intelligence reports for executive stakeholders
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Implement zero-trust security architectures
- Stay current on emerging threats (APT groups, ransomware trends)
Qualifications
- 3+ years cybersecurity experience with threat analysis background
- CISSP, CISM, or CEH certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools and threat hunting methodologies
- Hands-on experience with incident response (NIST SP 800-61)
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and attack vectors
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and container security
- Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision
- Active DoD Secret clearance preferred
