Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust security protocols for equity trading platforms and financial systems
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on critical infrastructure
- Monitor and respond to security incidents using SIEM tools and threat intelligence
- Develop zero-trust architectures and access control frameworks for sensitive financial data
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Create security documentation and compliance reports for regulatory frameworks
- Mentor junior security professionals and drive security awareness initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity with focus on financial systems
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or CISM required
- Expertise in threat detection, incident response, and risk management
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and network security protocols
- Knowledge of financial regulations (SOX, FINRA, SEC)
- Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate complex concepts to stakeholders
- Experience with security automation tools (e.g., Splunk, Qualys)
