Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts and threats in real-time to prevent breaches.
- Execute vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on internal and external networks.
- Lead incident response investigations, including root cause analysis and remediation.
- Configure and maintain security appliances, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and proxies.
- Ensure compliance with SOC 2, ISO 27001, and HIPAA regulations.
- Conduct security awareness training and briefings for technical teams.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in cybersecurity or network administration.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ are required.
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, OSI layers, and routing protocols.
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Elastic) and scripting (Python/Bash).
- Experience with cloud security platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Must be available to work rotating night shifts and weekends as required.
