Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM tools during weekend shifts
- Respond to and mitigate cybersecurity incidents involving equity trading platforms
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on financial systems
- Implement and maintain security controls for network infrastructure
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance threat detection protocols
- Document security incidents and prepare compliance reports
- Stay updated on emerging threats and zero-day vulnerabilities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience in finance/equity markets
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, CrowdStrike)
- Knowledge of NIST frameworks and financial industry regulations
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts (Friday-Sunday)
- Strong problem-solving skills under pressure
